Capitol Airspace is an aviation consulting firm that provides analytic, strategic, and advocacy services to airports, commercial and renewable energy developers, and communities around the world. We specialize in the FAA aeronautical study process, obstruction evaluation (OE), air traffic control (ATC) operations, airspace design utilizing FAA Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPs), ICAO Procedures for Air Navigation Services (PANS-OPS), and flight procedures development.

Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
The majority of our clientele rely on our expertise to navigate the FAA regulatory process for reviewing proposed structures, including buildings, towers, wind turbines, and moored aerostats. The Project Manager / Consultant is the single point-of-contact responsible for tracking all technical, programmatic, and contractual requirements on a day-to-day basis, as well as strategy and project development, and execution. Examples include:
Interfacing with clients that come from varying backgrounds including aviation, real estate development, and renewable energy.
Coordinating with the analytic team to deliver various airspace and obstacle evaluation studies.
Working closely with the Director of Analytics to ensure on-time delivery, accuracy, and solutions for complex projects requiring mitigation to resolve airspace impacts.
Overseeing the entire project/client lifecycle from introductory meeting to invoicing, to future project needs. Presenting comprehensive analytical findings to clients and identifying next steps, with support from the analytic team.
Drafting and presenting white papers, executive summaries, and meeting minutes.
Exploring opportunities for project and client growth.
Developing strategies to address client objectives while protecting for the efficiency and safety of the National Airspace System.
Analyzing client needs to ensure our services continue to evolve and solve client problems with an overall strategic focus on Capitol Airspace’s mission.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in an aviation-related field (Pilot / Aviator or Air Traffic Control experience a plus)
Ability to build relationships with, and work with, diverse client groups
Excellent organizational skills
